The Skoda Kamiq is the first city SUV from the VW subsidiary. Now the Czechs are also offering it as a Scoutline variant. It celebrates its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.

According to the manufacturer, the Kamiq Scoutline is not only characterized by its matt black wheel arch linings but also by numerous silver body applications. They give the SUV a more distinctive appearance. In addition, the Kamiq has a front spoiler with underrun protection and a rear diffuser. They are also kept in silver, as are the side skirts, exterior mirror caps and the roof rails.

The scope of equipment of the Scoutline variant also includes tinted side and rear windows with chrome-plated window frames. The Kamiq comes with 17-inch light-alloy wheels as standard; 18-inch wheels can also be ordered as an option. The standard equipment also includes full LED rear lights.

Interior with an ash wood look

In the interior of the Kamiq, the customer can choose between a standard ash wood look or optionally a brushed dark look decor. Chrome elements can also be found in the ventilation nozzles. The pedals are made of aluminum. The height-adjustable front seats have special covers made of air-permeable Thermo-Flux fabric and microfibre so that you can effortlessly survive long distances in summer. The steering wheel as well as the handbrake lever and gear knob are covered with leather.

Skoda will offer the Kamiq Scoutline in three engines. This includes three petrol, one diesel and one natural gas variant. The power spectrum of the engines ranges from 90 HP) to 150 HP. After the premiere in Geneva, the market launch should take place in June.

The Skoda Kamiq is the third SUV in the Czech model range, alongside the Karoq and the Kodiaq. It is very important for the carmaker's growth strategy. In the previous year, Skoda was able to increase its sales on the German market to over 207,000 units. This also means that the VW subsidiary remains the most successful importer.
